Our stay was a warm welcome to such a chaotic transition during PCS. Extended temporary lodging with 2 young boys (1 & 3 years old) was challenging, to say the least. We exhausted ourselves trying to juggle life in hotel accommodations. We needed something that felt more like a home, a routine and normalcy for our family. So grateful that we found this option! We were comfortable and made it through the remainder of our PCS with peace of mind. This property offered 2 bedrooms, a bathtub/shower (necessary for bathing little ones. The hotel only offered a shower), a full living room, partial kitchen accommodations, parking, on site laundry and room for storing unaccompanied baggage. It made our PCS much more comfortable!!

“My wife and I are both new to the Army. After a short engagement, decided to get married but unfortunately married Soldiers are not allowed to live in the barracks and Housing had a long waitlist for Jr Soldiers with no dependents. We were given’s Janet’s number at the Housing Office. It worked out perfectly for us. Janet allowed us to stay in one of her short-term rentals. It was incredibly nice, comfortable and esthetically pleasing. She let us stay until we could save up for furniture and another place. We didn’t want to leave. ����”

“Janet Rush is probably one of the best landlords that I’ve ever encountered. She went out of her way to help me to settle into a comfortable apartment which was beautifully decorated. My mother and I were very comfortable and appreciated all her friendship and shared dinner with us a few times. Her apartment had all that was needed. We were able to cook washer dishes and do our laundry and it was a great spot to be admiring the ocean from the apartment that we were allowed to stay in. I think Janet for all of her kindness and understanding throughout the entire time that we were in her apartment. I will definitely look her up again if I return to the Hawaiian Islands. Instead of going on to Housing to get the worst bunch of pieces imaginable, we moved into one of Janet’s short-term rentals. She asked us a few questions and did her absolute best to make it feel like walking into our own home. This was the most pleasant experience for the entire family.
